Nov. 12th 6 feated to win league play in Division II, going on to qualify for the Western Regional Tournament held in Clinton and compete against top teams from Utah, Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming. Coach Craig Roberts said the team played some very fast paced softball in the tournament where they were pitted against some very good teams with outstandingpitch-ing- . Ice where they took the lead early in the game and held their foes off with defensive plays and great pitching. The next game was a hard fought game against their league nemisus Castlewood. The Cardinals coming up short They then met Millers Falcons where they again took charge, winning 10-The championship game featured the Cardinals against the Castlewood team from their own league.
