In both cases the pain causes muscle spasm, which irritates the nerves, which causes the muscles to spasm. It is a vicious cycle. You need to break this cycle by removing the structural irritation upon the nerves. This "structural" treatment as done by chiropractors provides the BEST results. State worker's compensation records show that chiropractic is TWICE AS EFFECTIVE than any other methods for muscle and joint injuries. National government studies also support these findings.
