PUBLIC NOTICE 1 WEEK ONLY Factory-Olrt- Joey and Ruth Brooks to be honored on golden wedding day The children of Joey P. and Ruth Burch Brooks will honor their parents' 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the American Fork Senior Citizen Center, 54 E. Main, American Fork. All friends and relatives are invited to come and congratulate the couple. Ruth and Joey were married Sept 26, 1941, in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George IDS Temple. Ruth has worked in the home and has sewn for several different companies. Piecing quilts and quilting them keep her busy now. They are the parents of four children: Kent Brooks, Las Vegas, Nev.; Bill Brooks and Craig Brooks, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Michael Ray (Mary Jo) Greenwood, American Ruth was born in Provo and raised in Pleasant Grove and American Fork. Joey was born in Provo and raised in Lehi and American Fork. They made their first home in Tooele for a short time, then moved to American Fork where they raised Fork. They have 13 grandchildren and three n.
