Winners in the various age groups are as follows: First place winners in the elementary school division - a tie between Nori Miyagi and Zane Gray. They weere also the top two sixth grade players. They were followed by Kye Nuttall, Todd Childs and Jeremiah Scholl, all sixth graders. Fifth grade winner - Rustin Ross, first ; followed by Jay Hill First place in the fourth grade went to Donavan Rowley. First place in third grade was Haruhito Miyagi. First place in the second grade was Shawn Ross. Lehi Junior High Champion was Alawna Rowley, the defending state junior high girls champ. David Walker was the high school division champion, followed by Robert Scholl. The Miyagi Family won the Family Award. The next chess tournament will be held in January, according to Howe.
