Her talents and hobbies aren't limited to sports and the as she won first place in Lehi High's ZCMI tablesetting contest and one of her future goals is to graduate from beauty school and be a successful beautician. Pageant contestants are readying wardrobes, studying current events, and experimenting with new hair styles in order to be ready for the Pageant on May 4 at Lehi High School. Eight of Lehi's most outstanding young ladies have accepted the challenge to compete for the scholarships and awards that are waiting for the new queen and her attendants. The girls will compete in evening gown, interview, talent and private swimsuit judging. All contestants are selling tickets for the lovely spring production, and the girl who sells the most tickets will be given a special cash prize during the awards ceremony. Taunya Wilson and her committee g of Lehi women have been contacting Lehi clubs and businesses for financial and scholarship prizes, and arranging details. Milo and Claudia Smart are parents of Jennifer who has had 10 years of piano instruction. She would like to continue her studies music her following graduation from Lehi High School this May. Jennifer has not limited her practice to the piano. She is "at home" with the clarinet, trumpet, tuba, organ, and several other instruments. She hopes to continue her studies in music and get a college degree in engineering. Versatility is a credo in Jennifer's life. Her hobbies include swimming mm mi mm where she's won many ribbons and awards, diving, running cross country and playing soccer, (the only girl on the LHS soccer team). Hi-V- She won the Lehi Silver Band Instrumentalist Award, voted the most outstanding band member and was honored by the Utah County Kiwanis Club for being one of the top eight performing arts students. She was also named the most outstanding pianist in the Utah Teachers of Music Assn., Utah and was LHS Region, County Sterling Scholar in Music.
