The conference theme is "Utah's Resources for the Future: 1983 Update." It will focus on research undertaken through the Utah Engineering Experiment Station, which sponosrs the annual event. Dr. Chase N. Peterson, the university's new president, will deliver introductory remarks when the conference opens at 8:30 a.m. in Waldemer P. Read auditorium in Orson Spencer Hall.
