Norris of Route 5, Lehi, has reported for duty with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N.C. Driver's ed courses offered for adults Driver education courses for adults that have never driven or who do not now have a license will begin August 1, at Utah Technical College at Provo. The course will begin with registration at 5:30 p.m. in the driver training area of the college, located just inside the west entrance of the south wing on the Provo campus. Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for four weeks. Utah law now requires that an approved course be taken prior to initial issuance of a driver's license. The event is sponsored by the 1983 Utah Valley Special Interest and Young Special Interest. Participants may register for the entire four days or on a day by day basis. Events include a Luau on Thursday at 6 p.m. followed by Polynesian entertainment and group singing. On Friday will be a survival hike, marathon and temple sessions. In addition they have scheduled a single parent and children activity, handgun workshop, beef bake dinner at 6 p.m., Friday SI dance and YSI Casual dance.
