Show Thursday, July 5, 1979 Utah Energy Office is taking a step back in history to solve the problems of food storage and energy costs. The Energy Office is offering a free booklet. "Dry It, You'll Like It," with simple, plans for three inexpensive solar food dehydralors. People have been drying food for storage for centuries - but only recently with electricity. The heat of the sun did the job for thousands of years before the advent of electric drying units. With today's energy problems, solar power is becoming more and more attractive again. Booster Club Launches Fund Raising Activities Booster Club president, announced today that several fund raising activities are being launched in the community. A "like new" '74 LTD Ford will be given away at half time of the homecoming between Lehi game and Morgan. Tickets for the car will be sold at all three performances of the Lehi Roundup Rodeo and at the parades. Tickets are just $1 apiece. Cheerleaders and pep club members will be the comcanvassing munity to sell the tickets. Another fund raising drive will be held July 18 and 19 when Transalaska will bring in frozen fish.
