The Winners of attractive CHAMPS...UNDEFEATED-Memb- ers of the Lehi 9th Ward Girls Softball team won the stake tourney as they completed their trophies from the parade include: best costume, tourney undefeated. They will enter the region tournament the first week in August. Team members include Jan Shelton, Lisa Hardman; best Lynda Lott, Esther Hinton and Lynette Morgan, front I to r. Stock Parade Biggest, Best For 1979 In what has been described as one of the biggest and best stock parades seen for a local celebration, Thursday night's pre-rode- o got the celebration off to a stupendous start. There were over 50 really parade individual riders, plus adult and senior riding clubs from both counties Horse-draw- n represented. wagons and buggies also added the real touch of early America. And last, but surely not least, was the colorful caliope with the beautiful matched Clydesdale team. Eva Carson was at the "keyboard" and we truly got the carnival spirit and holiday flavor from this unusual entry V western boy, Rusty Allen; best dressed western girl, Missey Ashley; best pony cart, 10 Little Indians; best horse drawn, Utah Stuntmen's Association. We would also like to extend a hearty thanks to Art and Odessa Sabey for. serving as Grand Marshall of the Stock Parade.
