The polls at each polling place shall be opened at the hour of 7:00 o'clock A. M. and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. No person shall be permitted to vote at said election unless he shall be a registered voter residing in the School Representative Precinct in which he offers to vote and shall have paid a property tax in said school district during the year next preceding such election. He is a refrigeration specialist, employed by the Bechtel Oil Company. He spent several days here, also visiting other family members in the state. He rejoined his wife in San Francisco, Calif., his return to Arabia delayed by unsettled conditions with the Arabs there. Other officers are Levi Barber, Spanish Fork, first Mrs. Howard Willis, Springville, secretary, and Mrs. Lorraine Beach, Springville, treasurer. The Primary conference program, outlined by the General Board of the organization, was held by the Third Ward group last Sunday evening. The program followed the theme, "Wist Ye Not That I Must be About My Father's Business." President Eona Larson took charge of the conference and gave the speech of welcome. Songs, "Tell Me, Dear Lord.- - "Sweet Sabbath Day," "Jesus Once was a Little Child," "Being Helpful," and "Have I Done Any Good in the World Today," were directed by Betty Powell and accompanied by Glenna Turner. Eva Yates was the reader. The Seagull Girls sang the theme song, "They Found Him Teaching in the Temple." All groups in the organization were given opportunity to participate in choral readings, pantomines, and representation of books of the church. Prayers were offered by Edward Fox of the bishopric and Karl Webb. There were 130 children and 18 officers taking part President Gladys Peterson and, Counselor Wanda Bushman of the Stake Board were present. Colleen Gurney, who is employed with the Beneficial Life Insurance Company there, ana with her friend, Miss Jennell Foreman, who is teaching school. The art show in San Bernardino was enjoyed during their stay. The trip was made aboard the famed "City of Los Angeles" railway streamliner. They were gone a week.
