Show The Daily Utah Chronicle, Tuesday, October Page Three 15, 1985 Female writing to be studied Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Women's Resource Center will present, "Writing and the Female Experience: A Dialogue." Panelists will include Peggy Batten, Marilyn Kry si, Stephanie Pace and Nancy Roberts. This panel of women writers w ill discuss topics pertinent to women's writing, including how being female affects writing style and nuance, why women tend to devalue their own work, and why one panel member is no longer writing. Stephanie Pace is a University of Utah faculty member in the English department, and teaches classes on women's writing. Nancy Roberts also teaches women's writing classes and workshops on campus and in the community. Peggy Batten is a published writer now teaching in the U.'s philosophy department. Visiting writer Marilyn Krysl is the author of several books of poetry and collected short stories, and is the director of the creative writing program at the University of Colorado. Students, staff and faculty, as well as the general public, are invited to attend, and admission is free.
