Most workers want more benefits and wages without realizing they need to work harder to keep parity with the cost efficiency of the company. Paul Peery What am I talking about? The world is highly competitive, especially in business. The baby boom of the '50s and '60s is cresting and finding jobs will be particularity hard for our generation. It air comes down to jobs, which means income, which means survival. (Before you think I'm coming across with a negative drift and just out to depress you while you're siting in Finance 301, realize that this is the age of information.) There are going to be opportunities for all of us if we are smart enough to know how to prepare. But "hey" says Joe Flash. I've got a 3.86 in accounting, my uncle so and so is president of XYZ Company, and I've just been accepted at Harvard for my MBA. Joe most likely will do well under his circumstances, but most of us are not like Joe.' However, Joe hasn't realized one thing: when he goes job seeking he will be competing against people who are smarter, the BATTLE of the competition. In the end it's your own part of that believing in yourself is developed and enveloped here at the University.
