No. 1, Box 293, Tremonton, Utah, received a graduation diploma on Saturday, June 19, 1965, at the 58th annual commencement exercises of Stevens Henager FAMILY MEMBERS MOVE Mr. and Mrs. Steve DeJar-nat- t of Howell have had a few of their family members leaving this valley recently. Their son, Kenneth, left recently for Grant's Pass, Ore., where he is now employed and another son, James, left this past week for Salmon, Ida., where he will be the summer employed months with the U.S. Forrest Service. Don, another son, his and their son, wife, Diane, Scott, moved recently to Santa Cruz, Calif., where Don is employed at Moffitt Naval Base. for CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our thanks to our friends and neighbors who helped so much during and after the fire at our farm. Denny of 3310 Burlington St., Butte, Mont., has been promoted to technical sergeant in the U.S. Air Force at Kinche-lo- e AFB, Mich. Sergeant Denny is an airmaincraft ground equipment tenance technician in a unit that supports the Strategic Air Command mission of keeping the nation's intercontinental missiles and jet bombers on constant alert. The sergeant attended Butte High School. His wife, June, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David P. Gibbs of Portage, Utah. For four years ending in June. 1964, Pennsylvania required a physical examination for driver-licensapplicants. Miss Christensen was one of 149 students from the Salt Lake City and Ogden schools of the college receiving diplomas for completion of courses of one year or longer. One hundred of those receiving diplomas were from the Salt Lake City school and 49 were from the Ogden school. Lorna attended the Ogden school of the college. Tour Southeastern Utah The Duane Wells family joined Mr. and Mrs. Kay Stowell, Lana and Lorin of North Ogden to Southeastern for a trip Utah where they participated in the Friendship Cruise on the Green and Colorado Rivers. Due to boat motor failure the Stowells were unable to complete the cruise. The two families traveled with Pick-ucampers, visited in Moab and Blanding and spent two days on Lake Powell, launching at Hall's Crossing which is reached via a 100 mile drive through beautiful mountainous country on a dirt road. They have added a new daughter, Deborah, to their family making four sons and two daughters. Mr. Bracken is attending summer school at BYU where he hopes to complete his Master's degree in school administration. Last summer the Bracken family lived in South Dakota where he attended summer school, then visited the World's Fair in New York where they were house guests of Mrs. Bracken's father. Participating in the MIA dance festival and attending June conference in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Larsen, Neil Poulson, Brent Larsen, Billy Flint, Vicki Woodward and Dianna WTells. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Poulson were in Salt Lake City on Saturday to see the dance festival. Mr. and Mrs. James Bailey and family have moved to Huntsville where Jim will be employed at a park in Ogden Canyon. They were presented a gift from the community prior to their leaving. p Movt To Brigham City Mr. and Mrs. Roland Toombs and Mrs. May Marsh have moved to Brigham City, purchasing the Nellie Flint home in the Third Ward area, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Flint have purchased the Toombs home and are busy moving in.
