Show irii' Former Tremonton Residents Honored on 60th Wedding Th Leader Residents of this area will remember Mr. and Mrs. Edwin S. Peterson, former residents of Tremonton, and will be interested to learn of the Open House to held in Richland, Wash., honor them on their sixieth wedding anniversary. The Open House was held at the home of their son, L. E. Peterson, 1204 Birch Ave, Richland. in The couple was married Brigham City in 1905. They lived in Tremonton until 1936 when they moved to Bremerton, Oleen Holdawav Earns Decree Tremonioa. Uiak Thursday, June ! Wash., where he was employed by the city until his retirement. They moved to Richland in 1959. They are both active at 80 and 81 years and enjoy gardening and other hobbies. parents of They are the L. E. Peterson, Richland, Ervin F. Peterson, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. B. M. Bench, Ogden; and Mrs. R. A. Swick, Garden Grove, Calif. All of their sons and daughters and their husbands and wives were expected to attend the anniversary. Holdaway family attended Commencement exercises at Weber College in Ogden last week where Oleen was among the graduates. He received a Bachelor of Science degree. Oleen's wife, Sandra, Joan and the Joseph Bolingbroke Yates family of Harper were also present for the exercises. August 25 has been chosen by the young couple as their nuptial date and the Logan LDS Temple, is the place, chosen for the ceremony. Miss Brandt is a senior at Brigham Young University where she is a member of Omicron Nu. Lynn was recently graduated from BYU, and has filled an LDS Bavarian Mission. t, ENTERTAINS PINOCHLE CLUB The Pinochle Club was graciously entertained at the home of Mrs. Jean Stander Thursday evening. For her wedding the bride h was radiant in a straight gown of white chiffon. The white lace bodice was covered with chiffon and the skirt was fashioned with an empire waistline. The sleeves were long and pointed at the wrists. She wore a white lace mantilla, which matched the bodice, and carried white roses and baby floor-lengt- breath. Attending the bride were her three nieces, Lori, Janette and who wore Denise Anderson, swiss dotted yellow empire dresses. waisted, They carried white baskets of daisies. A brother of the groom, Glen Secrist acted as best man, and Dale Torgerson and Ken King were the ushers. The newlyweds left immediately for a honeymoon trip to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Park. For going away the new Mrs. Secrist wore a green silk suit with navy hat and accessories. They are making their home in Salt Lake City, where they are both attending the University of Utah. Tamara will graduate in August. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma business honorary scholastic fraternity. Mr. Secrist attended Utah State University prior to his enrolling at the University.
