Show Bear River Couple Leaves To Make Home in Oregon Attend Testimonial by Dollie Iverson Mr. and Mrs. Terry Dallin and Arnold Dallin left Saturday evening for the Lalles in Oregon. Terry has accepted a position with the government in that area. Mrs. Dallin and Arnold will return some time this week and Mrs. Dallin will move up there at a later date. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hansen of Concord, Calif., visited Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hansen Saturday. They were enroute to Oregon to visit other relatives. Shauna Lewis spent three days last week with Mrs. Mich-eAnderson in Ogden. Ida Christensen was called to Ogden last Thursday to stay with her daughter's children. Mrs. Janae Duke is hospitalized and is scheduled for surgery Tuesday morning. Thursday evening Dollie Iverson, Carla Ossman and Phyllis Pope of Tremonton motored to Ogden to visit Mrs. Junius Thompson at the Dunn Rest Home. Mary and Orval Iverson of Naf, Ida., were in town Saturday. Mrs. J. Lee Rock did not have surgery last week. She was sent home to wait for another month. Jean Huggins of Salt Lake City spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Huggins. Families Return From Vacations The weekend of the 11th and and Mrs. 12th of June, Mr. Frank Hall were in Round Up. Mont., visiting 'a brother, Paul Smith and family and Pearl's mother. This weekend the Halls were in Huntington attending by Myrle Udy Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Silvester returned Tuesday from a month's trip through a number of the Western States. They went through Eastern Utah into Arizona, to Reno, Nev., and the Sacramento country where they visited their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Birks and family (Sandra). They went north through the Redwoods, saw the a farewell testimonial for a grandson of Mr. Halls. Gladys, Roy and Eva Thorsen attended a wool growers banquet in Logan Tuesday evening. Elmo Christensen, Jo Dell Huggins and Jerry Williams were in Page, Ariz., several days last week on business. Mary Gardner was hostess to her club last Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Munns al devestation around Eureka and into Oregon, on to Moses Lake, and visited another Wash., daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Justisen (Peggy) and family on to Spokane, through the Idaho pan handle into Montana -- and home. They enjoyed glad trip to be home. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne of Corinne were visiting here Sunday. The Robert Bosch family have moved to Ogden. n Mr. and Mrs. Elmer K. Mor-tense- and daughter, Sharon, were in Salt Lake City, Saturday. Francis Jensen held a party at her home Saturday night. The group had a merry time helping Francis celebrate her .birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Anderson spent Fathers Day in Roy as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bateman and family. The James Stacey family of Salt Lake City were weekend at the Reed Munns guests home. The Johnsen family met at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnsen on Fathers Day. The group enjoyed a lovely dinner and a sociable afternoon. The Arnold Dallin family did the same thing, but without father. He was tripping. Visitors From Washington and Mrs. Ronald Anderson family and Mrs. Rulan Hansen and family of Moses Lake are spending this week with relatives here and Corinne. Their husbands will arrive later to accompany them home. The Jack Hodges were Fathers Day guests at the Chester Stander home. They also visited the new baby girl who arrived last Wednesday at the Max Stander home. Hope and Reed Shepard and son, Mattson, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Raffe Christensen. Sister and Brother Recovering Mary Ann Braegger fell and broke her arm and Kenneth, her brother, cut a gash in his foot by stepping on a piece of glass. It required five stitches to close the cut wound. Melvin and Meltrude Nelson returned from a ten day visit in Sedona. Ariz,. Saturday. Twelve brothers and sisters of the Earl family spent the week with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Earl and thoroughly enjoyed t h e grandeur of the country and coolness of the canyon. Riddle Family Gathers in Collinslon by Grace Warnke Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bid-di- e and Gilbert Hancey were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Goss in Brigham City on Fathers Day. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Winston Biddle and family of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bid-di- e and family of Roy and Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Biddle and family of Brigham City joined the group to honor their father. Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hogge and son, Shawn and Ray Hancey of Ogden came to see their father, Gilbert Hancey. Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Warnke were Mr. and Mrs. Roger John-Joh- D. Mrs. Mr. and Wayne Bourne and family of River-dal- e spent Sunday with their parents, the Leland Bournes. The Belmont Ward Relief Society was held Tuesday. A good crowd attended. The ladies quilted, crocheted, and did several types of novelty things. Wayne Hales and three boys of Salt Lake City spent Saturday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hales. Melba Lundberg and baby of Hyrum spent Monday with their parents, the Earl Hales. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Udy of Dawson Creek, Canada came down for MIA Convention and ye spending some time with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Udy (Bob) and other relatives in the valley.
