Preliminary judging is scheduled tonight starting at 8 p.m. in the Box Elder High School Auditorium. The pageant finale will be held Friday at 8 p.m. in the auditor- 1 ium. A student at Utah State University where she is studying towards a BA degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in music, Denise is a talented pianist. She will perform a piano solo for her talent number. Her high school achievements at Bear River include top music awards in both vocal and piano. She also served as a cheerleader and member of was a three-yea- r A Cappella Choir. She was a member of the Freshman Institute Committee and USU chorale during her first year at college. Patricia, 16, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hansen of Rt. 1, Tremonton. She is being sponsored by the 10th Hole Cafe. Attending Bear River High School, she is a member of the Phi Gamma and a diver and swimmer on the swimming team She is also a band member where she plays clarinet. A graduate of Bear River High School, she was a National Honor Society member, A Cappella Choir and member, played a leading role in the er school's production of "Carousel!' festival Set At Gallery Spike Visitors include Many Foreign Groups Visitors at the Golden Spike National Historic Site at Promontory Summit this year have included a good representation for foreigners out to see America. Making the pilgrimage were 189 groups representing 45 countries around the world. Most of these visitors arr ived in rented vehicles. Motor homes were the most favored by family groups. The summer interpretive program featuring the ceremony concluded Labor Day. Visitor Center hours following Labor Day are 8 a.m.-4:3- 0 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.nv-- 6 p.m. on weekends through October.
