He has been one of the great pioneers of this valley. He was foreman of for a good the many years. His wife Blodwin came out to the ranch to help cook for the hired help. This was how she and Elmer met. They were married and happily so for some sixty years. These two have seen a lot of changes lake place in the valley and have been responsible for a lot of them. We will all miss Elmer and would like to express our sympathy to the family at this time. Children of the Howell school enjoyed a real fun day at Park Valley Friday. They brought home a lot of blue ribbons for the athletic events in which they participated and we're sure proud of them. Mothers in our ward were treated like queens for the day Sunday: The Sunday school presented a lovely program in their honor and they were given a beautiful flowers. Many of the families had their children home for the day. Mary Hyden's house was full to overflowing. Mr. and Mrs. Curly Lloyd, Bedford, Wyo; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rushton, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Nessen and their families and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Nessen all met together for dinner in moms honor.
