"t m An "Alcohol Awareness Week" is being sponsored by the Bear River junior and senior high schools to point up the danger of the substance, May County Sheriff Art Redding and Glen Diller will be guest speakers at a meeting May 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school visual aids room on the topic of teenagers and alcohol. Activities in the two schools throughout the week will include emphasis on alcohol and its dangers in various classes along with special films and literature. "We have learned that there are some surprising and imp ant facts about teenagers and alcohol in our "alk; '.hat we should e awari of," said Mrs. Betty Frr ncom, junior high PTA president. "There are inevitably, some teenagers who drink then drive. Some of those will be arrested. Tragically, some will become involved in accidents, bringing grief to family and friends as well as to themselves," Mrs. Francom said.
