Washington Fertilizer Plant Dedicated Dr. Omer J. Kelly, chief of the USDA'S western fertilizer and water management research, was featured speaker May 17 during the dedication of a new commercial fertilizer plant at Kennewick, Washington. The dollar plant will manufacture ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate solutions and nitric phosphate high - analysis complex fertilizers for California Spray Chemical corporation, under the Ortho Unipel label. Distribution from Kennewick will cover the entire northwest md central Rockies region.
