Show The LEADER Tremonton, Utah EAST GARLAND by Mrs. Eph Peterson East Garland Youth Has Third Fracture Of Arms Within Period of Short Year Joe Oyler son of Mr. and Mrs J Sherman Oyler sustained his third broken arm within a year. This occured in a fall at school. The other nearly a year ago when he fell from a hay stack breaking both arms. Mrs. J. P. Christensen entertained her Sunday School Class at her home Friday evening at a chili and ice cream supper. Mrs. Naomi Oyler returned to Utah for the funeral of her sister, Mrs. David Wood Saturday. Mrs. Oyler spent the winter with her children in California. d Mrs. Dora Shaffer, Vera and Mrs. Lenna Oyler spent Thursday at Clarkston with Mrs. Ina Godfrey on her birthday anniversary-Mr- . and Mrs. Sherman Oyler attended Air Force day at Hill Field Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Oyler visited Saturday afternoon in Og den with Mrs. Dewey Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Hansen, Mrs. Blaine Harper entertained Friday afternoon for her daugh ter Gloria's 8th birthday annivers ary. Miss Rose, a 1960 graduate of BRHS, will receive $100 toward tuition and fees at the Utah uni versity or college of her choice The grant is designed to encouF age students to enter the teaching profession and each winner agrees to teach school in Utah for at least one year after certification.
