Show Tremonloru Utah The LEADER Grouse Creek Grad Honored Friday Graduation were COLLINSON BEAVER DAM exercises at Grouse Creek chapel. Those rotter Leaves Mrs. being honored at graduation were Kathleen Mecham, LeGrande Judy R.ae Kimber, and Douglas Tanner. Guest speaker at graduation was Mr. Don Loveland. After the exercises a Sophomore Swing was held, with decorations to carry ou the theme, of "Sea Enchantment". Visitors from the Board of Education and visitors from Park Valley were present. For English Trip Mrs. T. William Potter left Kim-be- r, for New York, Mon Wednesday treal and Liverpool on the way to her home in Cumberland, Eng- and for the first visit in 35 years. Mex., to visit their mother and grandmother who is ill News of VVoffindens Friends in this area were interested to learn of the appointment of Dr. Robert Woffinden, former Garland resident as bishop of the Winder Ward in Salt Lake City. News also came during the week of the death of Stephen, the 10 year old son of Dr. and Mrs. Woffinden. Dr. Woffinden is the youngest son of the late Horace Woffinden and his wife, Agnes. WEDNESDAY IS DOLLAR NIGHT Students under the direction of Mr. Charles Last, BRHS Industrial Arts Instructor, have been spending considerable time on a desk finishing project. In instances where a student a project and had completed there was a time lapse before beginning another, the students have been taking out two desks at' a time and refinishing the tops and returning them to the room. The desks were scraped to remove old varnish and scratches, and then sanded with an electric sander. After the sanding they were finished with fine sand paper and four coats of laquer. Students who participated included Bob and Dick Scothern, Paul Spackman, Roger Andrea-soOwen Udy, Gary Koford, Tom Rose, Vance Bourne, Jay Oyler, Charles Hess and -- Larry Chambers.
