It is inconceivable to me that sometime in the summer my 40th year graduation anniversary will be celebrated. Where have the years gone? Time passes like a snap of the finger. I guess I know. They weren't spent in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with my peers there; the time has passed living in different places, marrying, raising a family and working. It was a huge graduating class by most standards; somewhere around 525, I'd guess. How many of that multitude of humanity did I know? I mean REALLY know? Not many, if ConserI remember rightly. vatively, I'd say 40 or It's got to be a huge undertaking to put on a reunion like that, too. I can't remember anything about that class that would set it apart from any other, either before or after them, except that it was mine. World War II was over by then, but we were pretty sheltered from that anyway. I utilized the subjects I took by working for credit, so there wasn't much time for school activities. If I were to go back to Sioux Falls--an- d the chances are slim-ho- w many people at that reunion would I know now? And who would remember me? On July 24th, here in Beaver, I sort of envy the reunions that are celebrated. But then, I don't recognize the changes in the people either-w- ho got fat, who is bald now, who has grey hair, and so on down. ime.
