Last Thursday, March 3, a new one occurn;d in the Draper Poultry Industry, when a full carload of baby chick..' arrived from Petaluma. There were 31,250 chicks in the car 1 consigned to poultrymen of the Draper local. The chicks were considered to be in a vigorous healthy condition . and are doing nicely. A large number of this carload o chicks were taken to the Dra:Per com munity Brooder, in which 15,000 chi· are !being trained to the way of th• world. This one day shipment is larger thar the entire order of four years ago but is less than 10 per cent of th number to arrive this season. WEST JORDAN The Draper Civic Club met in the Club hall March 2nd, and reviewed some of the recently completed community projects. Several new projects were begun. An important matter considered was the urgent need of attention to our graded roads. It was decided that the meetings should continue during the summer and that the Club should continue to attend to the general civic problems of the town.
