After he was caught the senior airman received two orders not to discuss the case and not to contact the wife of the first airman, who was also involved in some of the criminal activities. The senior airman disobeyed both orders and had a sexual affair with the wife of the second airman while the second airman was serving his jail sentence. After a lengthy sentencing hearing, the military judge sentenced the technical sergeant to a dishonorable discharge, 12 years confinement, reduction to E--l and total forfeitures. A staff sergeant repeatedly molested two of his stepdaughters while they were living in the staff sergeant's home. The sexual abuse began when the children were 10 and 12 years' old. He was caught after he was transferred to Kadena AB, Japan, and his stepdaughters told their mother what had been happening.
