Hill's first sergeants will sponsor the event, which will feature Reserve Maj. Gen. Boyd L. Eddins, mobilization assistant to the commander of the Air Force Logistics Command, as the keynote speaker. General Eddins is a master navigator with more than 4,800 flying hours. He has been associated with the Reserve program at Hill for more than 30 years as a navigator, instructor, flight examiner, squadron commander and mobilization assistant to the Ogden ALC commander. When not in uniform, he serves as a state senator in his home state of Wyoming. He also ownes the Flying "E" ranch near Smoot, Wyo. There are 23 nominees in three active duty and three Reserve categories. Winners will be announced at the banquet and are selected by a board of chief master sergeants representing Ogden Air Logistics Center and all units assigned to Hill. Reservists were selected by a board from the 419th Tactical Fighter Wing and associated units. Tickets for the banquet are $14 and are still available from unit first sergeants. Dress for military attendees is mess or semiformal dress. Civilians should wear coat and tie or evening attire. The banquet will begin at 6 p.m. Active duty nominees are: Airman off the Year SrA. ferant C. Bushnell, 2892nd Distribution Squadron. Airman Bushnell is a munitions depot storage crew member responsible for the receipt, storage and issue of conventional Air Force mu- nitions. - SrA. Rosa H. Chavez, 388th TFW Airman Chavez is an aircraft electrical systems specialist, and currently the only aircraft electrician on the 6 transfer team Fighting Falcon A- - and for aircraft and responsible inspecting maintaining records required for phased-ou- t aircraft transfer. A1C Tony R. Wallace, 6545th Test Group. Airman Wallace is an aerospace ground equipment mechanic responsible for all maintenance actions on 23 different types of AGE equipment assigned to the 6514th Test Squadron. O-- F-1- el ' Noncommissioned Officer of the Year TSgt. Curtis A. Singleton, Detachment 8, 1365th Audiovisual Squadron. Sergeant Singleton is a television maintenance technician responsible for the technical expertise and supervision of unique preventive maintenance and installation of television systems. TSgt. Laura A. Gibson, 2892nd DS. Sergeant Gibson is the NCO in charge of the individual equipment unit responsible for supervising the receipt and state-of-the-a-rt issue of military clothing items to the base military population of approximately 20,000. SSgt. Gerald F. Erskine, 6545th TG. Sergeant is responsible for supervising nine people in the production control, day and overnight shift operations and all maintenance actions on 153 pieces of aerospace ground equipment. SSgt. Gregory D. Mack, 84th Radar Evaluation Squadron. Sergeant Mack is an aircraft control and warning radar technician who edits radar evaluation reports on the joint surveillance system and the North warning system. joint L. Eddie Thomas, 388th TFW. MSgt. Preston N. Linville, 729th Tactical Control Squadron. Sergeant Linville is the superintendent of the quality assurance branch responsible for ensuring quality inspections and tracking of 435 equipment end items. MSgt. Larry B. Mangum, 1881st Communications Squadron. Sergeant Mangum is the computer communications superintendent and is responsible for customer service to the entire base in every area 6 of communications. Reserve nominees are: SrA. Mark Burgess, 419th TFW. Airman Burgess is, a chapel management specialist. Al C Timothy J. Bisbocci, 67th APS. Airman is an air carga specialist assigned as a ramp control coordinator. He is responsible for uploading and downloading air freight on transport aircraft. Bis-boc- ci NCO off I he Year j TSgt. Robin L. Korogi, 68th APS. Sergeant Koro-g- i is the chief of information management and is responsible for keeping the administration smoothly during unit training assembly weekends. TSgt. Leah G. Spencer, 405th Combat Logistics Support Squadron. Sergeant is an aircraft electrical systems technician currently working as an instructor in the unit aircraft battle damage repair section. She trains more than 300 people each year on repair techniques and procedures. .SSgt. Garry L. Aber, 67th APS. Sergeant Aber is an air cargo specialist and processes air cargo for his unit's air terminal operations center: section-functionin- SMSgt. Mark C. Gossett, 2849th Air Base Group. Sergeant Gossett is a munitions operations superintendent assigned to the Air Force ammunition con-- , trol point. Directorate of Materiel Management. He is responsible as an executive agent for worldwide munitions logistical support operations. MSgt. Frederick D. Carcione, 6545th TG. Sergeant Carcione is the superintendent of the instrumentation support branch of the 6501st Range Squadron. He is responsible for power distribution systems at four remote instrumentation sites vital to the Utah Test and Training Range data network. MSgt. Richard S. Jones, 388th TFW. Sergeant Jones is the superintendent of the 4th Combat Munitions Unit managing 42 people. He is responsible for supplying air munitions for the 388th TFW's F-1- off the Year SSgt. Nicholas DeCock, 68th Aerial Port Squadron. Sergeant DeCock was recently promoted to staff sergeant during the period of the nomination. He was assigned as a load planner in the air terminal operations center. He is responsible for planning air freight cargo loading on transport aircraft. Airmen off the Year SMSgt. J.D. Jiron, 67th APS. Sergeant Jiron is the NCOIC of the 67th APS's air terminal operations center. SMSgt. Phillip W. Tournageau, 68th APS. Sergeant Tournageau is the superintendent of the 68th APS's air terminal operations center. MSgt. Edwin L. Caulford, Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Directorate of Distribution. ' Sergeant Caulford is an inventory management supervisor. He performs duty as a mobilization augmentee in the supply division. MSgt. Tommy J. Tudor, 419th TFW. Sergeant Tudor is a security police training supervisor and is responsible for training new unit members for the wing's the wartime mission.
