People who live and work at Hill AFB have a bet--te-r outlook on life because of a project to replace old, drafty, warped windows, said officials in the 2849th Civil Engineering Squadron. The new windows have been installed in Bldg. 1102, Ogden Air Logistics Center headquarters, and Thunderbird Park in Area C military family housing. A third contract will be awarded soon for several 1200 area buildings, officials said. The contract for the new windows is a result of civil engineering efforts to reduce energy consumption, provide the occupants with better comfort levels and provide architectural compatibility throughout the base, they said. ran Photo contest depicts 1 "Public address support will be provided by the 1881st Communications Squadron for official functions only.
