Maj. James A. Caldwell, .who holds the apparent world record of 18 consecutive years flying the Thunder-chie- f, made his last flight in the aircraft Nov. 2. Major Caldwell is a member of the nation's only unit still flying the aircraft, the Air Force Reserve's 419th Tactical Fighter Wing located here. He compiled more than 3,700 flying hours in the including 255 combat missions in Southeast Asia. The job of a load planner consists of determining how to move the required cargo, in the right sequence, in the fewest number of aircraft. Anyone having previous load plan ning experience in the military or who would like to undergo extensive training in present loading techniques is encouraged to contact the Transportation Operations Division here for an interview.
