Leo Marquez, commander, Ogden Air Logistics Center, has appointed three men to head com- mittees for the base Heritage Program. Weldon Woozley, who retired from government service in 1980, has been named to head the museum committee. This committee will select a site for a base museum and airpark and determine the type of buildings needed to hold the memorabilia depicting Hill AFB's past. After the museum and airpark are established, the committee will check their maintenance, operation and security. Mr. Woozley said, "The project is going to be interesting and challenging. It will be a total community program, not just a base effort." The committee is made up of representatives from the History the Judge Advocate's Office, the Directorate of Materiel Management, Civil Engineering, Security, the Inspector General's Office, and the419th Tactical Fighter Wing (reserve). The Historical Society is headed by John Barton, deputy director of the Directorate of Materiel Management. He has worked at Hill AFB since 1952. Mr. Barton said, "We are the historical data gathering arm for the Heritage Program." They will concentrate on organizing the people on base ( r fx :i ....... Weldon Woozley (u s.
