All Utah hunters under age 21 must hold a certificate of competency (Hunter Safety Card) before being allowed a hunting license. To qualify for this certificate, the base Safety Office is sponsoring the hunter safety training course. Instructor will be Mr. Maylen Hebdon, who is certified by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Dates of instruction will be next Monday and Wednesday and Oct. 14 and 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in building 593, bottom floor (enter basement door on west side of building). Registration will be during class 'on Monday. A $5 class fee will be charged. Range date will be Oct. 16 or 17; specific date and time will be announced in class. Students must be at least 11 years old.
