Show HILL TOP TIMES Page 22 October 3, 1980 Appreciation Oeav helid bosses employees bi d-Jo- r Sports Loan along with Vera Kelson and Lyle The Recreation Services Branch Employees' Appreciation Day, sponsored by the officials of the Recreation Branch, was held Saturday and began with a morning breakfast. Seventy-fiv- e hungry employees enjoyed a meal of perfection. The chiefs, supervisors, directors, managers and their assistants were auctioned off to the highest bidder to give the employees a chance to have their boss go to their facility and work for them for an hour. Jorgenson. Boyd Tate and Wendell Collier win visit the Thornton Recreation Center. Joseph Hess will visit the Youth Center. Harry Hall will be reading stories to youth in the Library and Buddy Carter will be at the division office. Shirley Lacey will help in the branch office and Wendy Starrer will be going to the base pool. All proceeds from the auction will be given to the Combined Federal Campaign. After the auction, the group enjoyed playing volleyball, horseshoes, ping pong, pool and visiting. A short musical program was presented by the directors and their as assistants. The musical scores were performed from "South Pacific," "West Side Story," Village People and the Mickey Mouse Club, with Vera. Kelson as the emcee. Sherm Black, chief of recreation, will go to the Child Care Center along with Clark Obray, Ron Trussell, ,Tim Garrahan, Mike Bryson, JoAnn Gabbitas, Francis Gurnee, John Langford, Dave Scripko, Nora Axton, Shirley Thornock , Ed Hear on and Weldon Champneys.
