Colonel Lockley suffered pulled muscles in his back and arms. "I didn't realize I was hurt until I got home," he said. "I hope no one else has to live with the memory of a boy saying, 'Please (AFNS) mister, jack it up.' " , Colonel Lockley was on his way home when he saw three teenage boys on a single bicycle ride into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. One was on the handlebars, one was standing up pedaling and the third was sitting on the seat. "You could just see what was going to , happen," he said. "The boys were coming down a hill on a street entering the highway. The truck driver did everything he could to avoid them, but he didn't have a chance." Colonel Lockley and another man ran to the scene.
