Show Page 8 April 13, 1973 HILL TOP TIMES o j o(ippLTQDrBg)S a potpourri SEMINAR HELD Sixty women from Hill AFB attended a one-da- y seminar at Weber State College last Friday, where the latest in of Hill AFB formation and approaches in pertinent topics related todays women career where presented. The program included representatives from the local universities, Federal Women's Programs chairman; Nora Donaldson, Advisor, Civilian Personnel Training Branch; Alene G. Bodily, Base Commander's office; LaPriel Carlton, tenant organizations; Marilyn Cordon, Personnel; Donna J. Glenn, Procurement; Ardus S. Hazen, Comptroller; Corrine Hill, Maintenance; Elease colleges and leading business women. Speakers included Doris Taggart, public relations consultant for Zions First National Banks; Denise Quinn, University of Utah; Allien R. Russon, University of Utah; Beth Gurrister, operational to meet the demands of the many users at Hill AFB. Although his tour of duty at Hill AFB has been short, he has performed in an outstanding manner by completing heavy work schedules in an expeditious manner and maintains excellent quality workmanship. ' WOMEN'S ROLES DISCUSSED - Sixty women from Hill were among those gathered at Weber State College for a seminar centered around the career woman. Expressing pleasure over the growing concern for greater utilization of women on base are, Dr. Denise Quinn, Lee Beckner, Doris Taggert, and Marion Hardy. His selection of the Air Force for his tour of military duty was influenced by the tales told by his father, who served many years as a 7 Bomber Mechanic. Airman Scott joined the Air Force in July 1972 and after basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas; was assigned to Hill AFB in September 1972 and has served as special purpose mechanic since his members For fashionable reasons. His hopes of the future is to return to his home state and become engaged in farming and maintaining equipment needed in the modern day farming business.
