There are seven of them in the state and they cover geographical areas in which base military and civilian personnel reside. The Ute Chapter is headed by Larry Barton, of the Maintenance Directorate. It covers those people living on base and off-bas- com- e munities of Sunset and Roy and towns to the west of them. Another active chapter is the Wasatch Chapter which covers Bountiful, Centerville, Woods Cross, Farmington, Kaysville, and Layton Clearfield. ROTC cadets were honored at a at Hill AFB Weddining-i- n nesday evening, April 4, as being the top cadets of their respective schools. Cited by the Utah Air Force Association were Cadet Robert Briscoe, Weber State College; Cadet Gregory L. Whiting, University of Utah; Cadet William A. Varga, Utah State University; and Cadet Alan K. Passey, Brigham Young University. Speaker at the event attended by nearly 200 cadets Its president is Ace Allred, also of Maintenance. Gloria Denner heads the active Salt Lake Chapter which includes Salt Lake City and many of its suburbs. Mrs. Denner is employed with Defense Contract Ad- ministration Services District in Salt Lake City. Those residing in the area of Provo to South will be interested in the Central Utah Chapter. Its president is Ray Dunn of the Maintenance Directorate. The northern part of the state has not been overlooked. Towns from Brigham City up to and including North Ogden are the territory of the Golden Spike Chapter. It is headed by retired business man Frank Coppin of Brigham City. Quill Nebeker, a railroad official, is president of the Ogden Chapter. The chapter takes in Ogden. women's organization--thRocky Mountain Chapter headed by Helen Hilburn a civilian Patrol officer. No territory is claimed by the girl's chapter. It has statee wide affiliation. Utah AFA officials em- phasized that territories assigned the individual to to affiliate with.
