The Air Force Reserve band is one of the oldest and most renowned of Air Force bands. It has appeared in such famous parades as the Memorial Day parade in Boston and entertained nearly 200,000 people at the International Air Show in Detroit. On July 25 the band will play for an honors parade at the 945th at Hill AFB. The parade will be a highlight of the y summer encampment of the 1,000 member Air Force reserve unit. Project officer for the band's Utah appearance is Maj. R. E. Peterson of the 945th.
