James is stationed there with the Navy. His bride is Ann Travers, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Travers, of Derry City, where they were wed. The marriage took place at noon, May 31, in Long Tower Church and a hotel reception followed. Arthur R. lilies, Jr., a mechanical engineer in the Reliability Branch of Service Engineering, now belongs to the Gallon Club, having contributed a gallon of blood within the last 18 months to local blood centers. Lieutenant lilies, who hails from Brooklyn, belongs to a "multi-gallo- n family" of 'blood donors back East. RECENT RETIREE BELONGS Ben Yaunt (left), wright foreman, Plant mill- Serv- ices Branch, Maintenance, dis- plays some of the stones and jewelry he has made at a farewell party held in his honor. Ben is retiring after 28 years in Civil Service. Mr. Yaunt's presented him a cake, gift, and plaque signed by friends. He is an enthusiastic "rock hound" and his future plans include more time for rock hunting and jewelry making, along with hunting and fishing. He resides with his wife in Clearfield. EXCELLENT SECRETARY The Ogden AFPRO Secretarial Excellence Award was recently granted to L. Gayle Culver, named as the outstanding secretary of the organization during the first quarter of 1969. Joseph A. Levisky who next serve as an instructor at the Air Force Academy for the four years. While assigned a chemical engineer in the Reliability Branch Captain Levisky was awarded the Air Force Association's Distinguished Officer's Award. He has published papen in the Reliability and Maintainability journals and was recently awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal. EXCHANGE MARRIAGE VOWS Two Hill AFB employees exchanged wedding vows last month when Jean Kendall, a secretary in the Traffic Branch of the Transportation Support Division, Supply, became the bride of Glen Wanczyk of the Base Support Division. The marriage was performed in Preston, Idaho, at the West-woo- d Reception Center with Bishop Karl Reeder officiating. Jean is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guff Kendall of Oxford, Idaho.
