Brig. event was the January luncheon which was sponsored by the 28th MAS wives prior to their forthcoming departure from the base. Jack and Fran's first assignment in Pendleton, Oregon, was the first of many interesting assignments all over the world. From Pendleton, they were stationed in Colorado Springs and then four years in Kansas. A duty at Merced, California, was next; then two years in Los Angeles while Jack attended U.C.L.A. The next rtiove was to the Pentagon for four years followed by a wonderful tour in Paris with SHAPE for three years. The next year was a very enjoyable one at the Air War College. The next assignments were to Wright-Pattersofor four years, two years at Kelly in San Antonio, and back overseas to London with NATO. Their last assignment will be here at Hill AFB. Despite their many moves, Fran has managed to raise a a son, Jack, in lovely family OTS at Lackland AFB; a daughter, Jill, teaching in Denver and another daughter. Sue, attending North Davis Junior High in Clearfield. Jack and Jill are both graduates of the University of New Mexico.
