Nine of the champions were from Ogden AMA. Altogether, AFLC suggestions resulted in $24,813,415 reduction in costs during the six months. Names of the 33 have been forwarded to the Air Force Incentive Awards Board. The champions proposed 28 suggestions that reduced costs in excess of $49,000 each. Their leaders were William A. Botelho and Carroll E. Gamble of Sacramento Air Materiel Area, McClellan AFB, Calif. Fluid system repairers, they eliminated hydraulic pump failures caused by contaminated fuel. Their suggestion was evaluated by three air materiel areas and by the manu- , WRIGHT- - facturer. Cost Avoidance Result: A cost avoidance of $461,665 accrued at Sacramento AMA in the first year alons. The suggesters divided $1,515 in recognition of their idea. Ten of the champions are at Oklahoma City Air Materiel Area, Tinker AFB, Okla. They are Wendell L. Davenport, Albert Gisi, W. D. Oliver King, Douglas W. Price, John D. Sehon, Clarence C. Sims, Charles R. Stone, Sr., Robert L. West, Charles R. Wood and John C. Woodle. Ogden Champs Ogden Air Materiel Area, is next with nine. They are Ethel H. Adams, Max Allen, Willard J.
