Kay Denton served for sev eral years as private secretary to Senator Wallace F. Bennett in Washington, D.C. "It was fascinating to learn the ins and outs of the government' Mrs. Denton said. "It really gave me a new outlook to see all the political action and to be able to participate in it." "Our office was located in the Senate office building and we got acquainted with all the congressmen. I was there during the time of President Kennedy's death and felt the mood of the nation's capital during that tragic time." She also attended President Johnson's State of the Union address and considers it one of her most impressive experi(R-Uta- h), ences. It was while she was work- ing in Washington, D.C, that she met her husband, Val Ray Denton. Even though managing hardware for the Minuteman isn't quite as glamorous as her job in the capital, Mrs. Denton concerts, eums, enjoys her job at Hill AFB very much. The Dentons reside at 3007 South Davis Blvd., Bountiful, and are parents of a daughter, Heather. four-month-o- ld Mrs. Denton's mother, Jessie Heinze, has been a Hill AFB employee for about 15 years and works in Data Product Division, Materiel Management. Civilian personnel or military personnel in civilian clothing should come to attention and if wearing headgear remove it with the right hand and hold it over the heart. Women should salute by standing at attention with the right hand placed over the heart.
