Olympic Team Members WASHINGTON (AFNS) At least 12 members of the Air Force are among members of the U.S. Olympic team participating in the 10th winter games at Grenoble, France, Feb. ; 6-1- 8. Capt. Bruce Medley, assigned to the ROTC detachment at the University of Montana, is the coach of the U.S. luge team. A luge is a wicker basket on wooden runners similar to an American sled. This is only the second time the U.S. has entered Olympic luge competition. Drivers steer their weight traveling at speeds by shifting on the luge while down a bobsled run up to 75 miles per hour. 1st Lt. Lewis Janousek, Wright-Patterso- n AFB, Ohio, is team captain. Other Air Force members on the U.S. team are Sgt. Kim Layton, Holloman AFB, N.M.; Sgt. Terrence O'Brien, S e w a r t AFB, Tenn.; and A1C Robert Skeet Meet Set May 20 Pettit, Fairchild AFB, Wash.
