Yesterday morning at his home on Provo Prove Bench after a n lingering Illness from kidney trouble and gener general al at debility Tho The deceased was born in Green Creep county Ind md April 10 1829 His parents were John and Hannah Inger soll oll ohl Patton Patten The father was a 11 brother of ot David Dald Patten Patton who was as killed at Far West Mo Time The family became members of or the Church of Je Jesus us Christ of o Saints In 1 2 and in 1833 moved to Jackson county Missouri From that time tho the deceased has hai been with the Church His father died In the spring of ot 1847 1841 from exposure on tho the day the tire pioneers started for tor Utah On the tho deceased V then n 19 years of ae age and his brother John the then devolved tho the care of ot tho the family They Tev cr
