UTAH EXPOSITION SHOWS Nephi Flyers Go On Breakfast Flight ON THE MIDWAY WITH SHOWS RIDES CONCESSIONS By Dudley Bray Spencer E. Forrest got his license the other day. So the fly-boof Nephi and Mt. Pleasant decided to help him celebrate the occasion by accompaning him on a breakfast flight. Five planes took off Nephi's Municipal Airport Sunday morning earlyq. Spencer Forrest took his son Bryan in the Nephi Flying Club's Cessna; Frank Booth and Dean Warner took turns flying a Cessna; Orris Winters and Charles "Downwind" Tidwell likewise took turns flying a Taylor-craf- t; Jay Nielson of Mt. Pleasant joined us in his Ercoupe, and the writer Dudley Bray, and George Green led the Dawn Patrol in an Aeronca. The nine men droned through the sky, destination Tooele, 60 air line mines north west of Nephi. The flight was made in 45 The hungry men piled minutes. out of their light planes and the manager of the Tooele Airport took us up town where we enjoyed a fine breakfast in one of Tooele'e new cafes. Then back down to the Airport and into the sky for a scenic trip up around Lake1 Point and over the shores of Great Salt Lake. Some more of the points of interest we got a birds eye view of as we flew over them were Black Rock, County Boat Harbor, Gar-fieSmelter and Utah Copper.
