Aaron Evans who was on leave from Vietnam. She was down from Lehl with her three children to see Hon and Erma over the weekend. The Gale Bennett family spent the holiday In Salt. Lake with' Gale's relatives there. A birthday dinner was held at the Waldo Warnlcks on Saturday Sat-urday In honor of Alta's birthday. birth-day. The Lee Judd's daughter, Sherlene Pace and little boy Mike, came Saturday from Post Falls, Ida. to visit tor a while. Sherlehe's sister, Margie and husband Fred Works drove to Salt Lake to meet them and bring them to Hinckley. Mrs. Arvilla Workman Is home after spending the past two weeks with her daughter, Elma, husband Wayne Jones and family at Laverkin. Paula Holsten and children joined them there for Thanksgiving Day. Sunday Arvllla's daughter and Lawanna, husband, Jack Davis and family stopped in Hinckley to see Arvilla after she had retuned home. They also visited with a former Hinckley girl, Elaine Stevens Bratnard, Elaine Is Clyde Stevens' sister. The Davlses also drove along the coast from Los Angeles to Watsonville, ' Alta Is known for doing such lovely things as this always. Present were: Mary Warnlck, Salt Lake; her friend, John Maloney, Calif.; Edith Ann, home from school; Richard Warnlck, Gloria WlHday and Wendy and Debbie. The Carl Dutson family had as Thanksgiving day guests, Valyn's brother and wife, Reed and Audrey Draper and their five girls Debbie, Liz, Jennifer Lynn and Becky, all of Ogden. Alta Warnlck and Enid Dam-ron Dam-ron spent a day in Salt Lake at the end of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Howell returned home from a visit of a week and a half at Calif. Nov. 9th, they drove to Yuclp la, Calif, where the saw the Norrls E. Jordan family. Norrls is France's brother. While there the big brush fire started at Big Bear Lake, Red-lands Red-lands and Beaumont started and they saw huge clouds of smoke and sifting ash got so bad they left and went to Hermit Her-mit where another brother of France's lives. (O. K. Jordan and his family. While there Frances met a great-nephew and a great-great Nephew she had never met. From Hermit they went on to San Benadlno where another brother of hers is, Harry C. Jordan. Here they visited briefly with him and his family. Harry Jordan Is a Professor Pro-fessor of History and Civics who is doing work for the Air Force. He, along with some others are writing a hisVry of the Air Force. At this time he Is also convalescing from a hip protests. After seeing see-ing them, Lee and Francis went to San Diego where they went aboard a private charter boat. They met the Captain and also saw the catch of tuna after the boat had been out fishing for five days. After they had a good time at the beach, the surf and sand. Lee and Francis returned to Hermit on their way home, stayed there aweek and returned home Nov, 20 in time for Thanksgiving. Lowell and Ester were InSalt Lake to spend the holiday with their family. The baby son of the Jay Wright's Is hospitalized with bronchitis. Visited for just a minute with an old school-friend of mine, Oneta Ivers, Midway this week. She was Oneta Rose and attended at-tended the HincklyHlghSchool. She and her husband, Leland Ivers were down to see her mother, Thurza Webb, who Is in West Millard Hospital at the present time, and also Jack. It is always good to see friends of days gone by. Jane and Gene Ekins had her parents, Mr. and Mrs.Wtlliam Mace of Fillmore at their home for Thanksgiving dinner. The Carl Hardy's had as their Thanksgiving dinner guests, Beryl's parents, Clyde and Lillian Wood of Holden, Judd and Jacqule Hardy and family came to visit with them also, Kris and Vincent Cropper and family, making a nice get-together. get-together. Mrs. Pat Chatwin has been released this week as Primary Chorister, and Mrs. Jane Ekins is replacing her. Spending Thanksgiving in St. George with Dana and Angle Pratt and Macy last week were George and Sebrina Ekins, David and Linda Ekins and baby Natalie, Keith and Kathryn Black and three boys of Orem. Mrs. Alda Reeve was over from Fillmore Saturday to see her mother, Mrs. Lydla Ekins, her sister, Erma Cropper and other relatives here. Ester Stevens was home from school at Dixie for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiv-ing. Her fiancee KenThompson was with her. Mrs. Carolyn Stevens took Ester and Ken to Fillmore a day this week. Ken met Esters grandparents (Carolyn's parents) par-ents) Mr. and Mrs. Al Weed. Clare and Pat Bowen and family of Smithfleld spent a Thanksgiving holiday visit with tne children's grandparents, the Harold Morrises. The Morrises had all of their family (except Ronald and family) at their place for dinner last Thursday; the Bowens.Donand Cherle Morris and Kevin and Jody; Gene and Betty Jane Morris and family; Karolyn and Waldo Warnlck, Jr. and family. Edith Ann Warnlck was home from Cedar for Thanksgiving. Margaret and Frank Wilde and family came from Salt Lake Sunday. It was Margaret's birthday and they spent the occasion oc-casion with the George Ekins'. David and Carol Corey and baby boy were here from Pro vo where they attend BYU, they spent the holiday with Mrs. LaFay Corey. . Gloria Wlllday went to Provo Saturday on business. Jody and Sylvan Lovell and baby girl spent Thanksgiving at the Ward Petersons. Dinner guests also were Debbie and Robbie Shippe, son and daughter daught-er of Gretha and Steele Shippes who attend BYU. Ward is their uncle. Thursday, Elder Lynn Hansen of Washington, who has returned re-turned from a Mission to Australia Aus-tralia visited the Carl Hardy's enroute to Ely, Nev to spend Thanksgiving with his sister. Carol Is the former Carol Hardy, daughter of the la;e Clark Hardy and of Mrs. Minnie Hardy. Marge and Lee Judd recently returned home from a trip to Old Mexico where they visited Lee's brother, John. Theywent to see him as he is very ill at this time. He lives at Colonia Juarey, Old Mexico. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gale Farnsworth on the arrival of their sixth child, the baby was born at the West Millard Mil-lard Hospital Monday, Nov. 23. This makes three girls and three boys for them. He weighed weigh-ed 71bs. 12oz. and will be named Owen Klmber. Mr. and Mrs. Farnsworth have been part Hincklyltes for a number of years, having taught In our school here for quite some time. Happy grandparents welcoming wel-coming the the weeone are Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Klmber of Delta also Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Farnsworth of Moab. The new arrival makes 19 grandchildren for the Klmbers, 28 for the Farnsworth's. The family of the late Juel and Armlnie (Minnie) Bishop Moody held a family reunion Thanksgiving get-together this week at the Marvin J. Moody home at Sutherland. It is the first time they have been together to-gether for several years. The next day they were invited to Lee and Lois Wilson's for another get-together. It was a wonderful time for all. Those who were here were: Gam and MaNee Moody of Oroville, :Callf., Lucille Stephenson of Las Vegas, and Bryant Moody of Salt Lake. Bryant also visited visit-ed with his children here and their families: Mary and Cleo Christensen, Sutherland, Mer-lene Mer-lene and Wayne Turner, Sutherland, Suth-erland, Dwlght and Margie Moody, Delta. I send a message of sincere sympathy to Donna and Mel Anderson An-derson of Oak City and their family at the passing this week of a dear, sweet old lady, Mrs. Genevieve Blanchard, who has been an extended care resident at the hospital for a long time. I have worked for many months with Mrs. Blanchard and learned learn-ed to really love her. She was such a friendly, kind, considerate consid-erate person. She loved everyone every-one she knew and they loved her. She will be missed by her family and everyone at the hospital. Elaine Hardy was hospitalised hospitalis-ed at West Millard Hospital Wednesday night. Oleta Swenson' s son, Jim Larson, his wife, Nancy and their children of Lake Tahoe, Calif came for Thanksgiving with her and Randle. They returned re-turned home Sunday. Ross and Valeda Hilton and daughter, Jeannette, of Cedar were up for the holidays at the Randle Swenson and Fannie Hilton homes. , . , Mrs. Lydia Ekins hasn't been well lately. Hon Cropper has been on the sick list the pst week. , Sunday evening, officers and teachers of the YMMLA gave the program for church. Also several girls received their Individual Awards. The Waldo Warnicks had a big Thanksgiving dinner and get-together Thursday at their home. In addition to a lovely dinner, beautiful decorations graced the table and the rooms. The Joe Morris' had all their family home for Thanksgiving. The landscaping contract for the Church addition has been given to the Ward and work Is beginning this week. Dirt will be hauled and everyone who can come and help beginning Saturday Satur-day Is asked to do so. Equipment Equip-ment needed is: trucks, loaders scrapers, shovels, rakes. Evergreens will be - planted after the ground is prepared, lawn will be planted this spring. Cooperation is asked of parents and children as this project gets underway. Lynn Talbot is in charge. The Leonard Palmer family drove to Salt Lake to spend the holiday with Marilyn.
