Mr. and Mrs. Alva Young, Sid and Cecelia are at their ranch. Cecelia's parents joined them for a few days in the beautiful hills north of Vernon. Mrs. Janice Tolbert and sons David and Jim visited the Floyd Tolberts. LaVoy and Janice live in Torrey, Utah where they have a Motel and Cafe. Both LaVoy and Janice are teaching school in Bick-nel Bick-nel just a few miles from their home. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Peterson and Cinda spent the weekend in Salt Lake visiting the Bill Browns. Mike find Barbpra nre living with the Heroid Peterson's helping with the farm work. Herald, Rao, Clifford and Erma Petersen attended the wedding of their nephew Trent Petersen, at the Salt Lake Temple. Brent is the son of Leo Petersen, a brother to Clifford Clif-ford and Emily Young. UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson went to Salt Lake last Wednesday, and visited with their children. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bradfield and son Grant returned home Saturday from a weeks vacation in Las Vegas. Saturday night, 18 month old Grant choked from a croup attack and was rushed to West Millard Hospital. He was hospitalized hospital-ized until Monday. Ellen Best, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Best, was home over the weekend. Ellen has been in Provo the past six weeks, getting in her hours fcr nurses training. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Wilkins visit ed in Oak City Sunday with their daughter Barbara Anderson and family. Many people from here attended the opening night at the Sahara Theatre in Delta. It is really a beautiful place. I hope people will support it. Monday morning, Mrs. Fay Walker, Walk-er, of Delta, Lawrence and I, went to Salt Lake. We had a busy day. DEMOCRAT Lawrence kept three doctor appoint ments, each one in different parts of the city. We toured the State Capitol, and also visited Malesc Roberts Bishop who is hospitalized in the St. Marks hospital recovering from a stroke. She has been there for a month. She is a sister-in-law of Mrs. Walker. We also visited in Bluffdale with Mr. and Mrs. Moyal Anderson and family. Keith Overson, who is attending school In Provo, was home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson over the weekend.
