Kaufman. Parents of the engaged couple are Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hunsaker of Spanish Fork, formerly of Delta and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Beardall of Springville. The marriage is being planned for February. The bride-elect is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School and Continental Con-tinental Beauty College of Salt Lake City. She is presently employed employ-ed in Spanish Fork. Mr. Kaufman graduated from Springville High School and L.D.S. Seminary and attended Utah Technical Tech-nical Institute at Provo. He is employed em-ployed at U. S. Steel. B.H.S. He also enjoys fishing and all school sports. His favorite Is football. foot-ball. Friendly and out-going Zane, plans to attend the College of Southern Utah. This year his class schedule Is English, Seminary, Book keeping; Speech, Cheministry, Psychology Psy-chology and athletics, which should help him in the field of his choice. Good sportsmanship is a characteristic charac-teristic this sturdy Letterman shows. He is really even-tempered and can take reverses of the game without losing the objectives. Bemis (DEMOCRAT) solicits your vote in the November 8 Election for the office of Millard County Recorder Mrs. Bemis is the widow of the late George Bemis who died in 1960. She is the mother of nine child ren and sole support of four children at home and a son enrolled at CSU. Mrs. Bemis says "I feel that I can honestly execute the duties of this office. She cares about people and they sense it, and appreciate her. Jackee's friends love her, and everyone who has come Into her acquaintance either a many year's companion or any one of D. H. S.'s students who has received a hello and seen her sparkle--is her friend. She also has a cheerfulness and willingness to help others which draws people to her. Painting and cheerleading are Jackee's favorite interests, but stud ies occupy a large part of her busy life. Her favorite class is English. Jackee was a delegate to Girls State and Jr. Class royalty for the Harvest Ball last year. She plans to attend Weber State College to major in either nursing or teaching. JolJv NfifcIici'S The Jolly Stitchers Club met Friday Fri-day at the home of Zelda Ogden with LaVell Johnson as co-hostess. A business meeting was conducted conduct-ed by Hazel Cahoon. A card party was planned for Saturday, Oct. 20, 7:00 p.m. at the hall. It will be a pot luck supper with Pearl Terrell, Zeida Ogden and Norma Jensen acting as hostesses. The club will meet again Friday. Oct. 28 at the home of Haltie Hai ris with Irene Little as co-hostess. A musical program will be given by Verdella Adams and some of her students.
