Show Hinckley - - - Graceful luxury accented in Chevrolet's Impala line for 1963 '. CLARA STEWART t Eleven hundred and fifty-nine people attended the first session of conference Sunday morning in the! newly decorated stake house, The Oak City Ward choir of around forty voices, with Junior Anderson conducting and Edith Fmlinson ac- j companying on the organ, did the singing and it was beautiful. Mr. Walter Danzey of the Church Welfare Wel-fare Committee was the only v.s-itor. v.s-itor. The stake presidency, the missionaries, mis-sionaries, bishops and all who talked were really inspired. Let me tell you some of the th'.ngs they told us: The Lord would have you go to church Sunday morning. It Is the most soul satisfying thing in the world you can do. Put your trust in the Lord. Keep His commandants com-mandants and see if he will not pour you out more blessings than you can contain. The most precious gift we have is the gospel. Share it 'with your neighbors. Let life challenge you. Rise above the dull level of destiny. The reason our church is so great is because we have such great leaders, so many ready and willing to lead without pay. Don't ever find fault orcriti-. orcriti-. size them. We are building leaders in the little country towns. Ninety percent of our leaders come from the country. Keep busy in righteous doings. The . brightest pieces . of steel must be used or they become tarnished. Be thrifty, keep out of debt. Debt causes trouble. Mormons who are really living the gospel are the happiest people in the world. It was a good conference. I love the missionary reports most of all.
