That old wind just about blew us away and so many people here to decorate their relatives' graves, and about all they could do was run, put the flowers on, and hang onto their heads. I managed man-aged to get the sand out of my eyes long enough to write some of the names down but didn't get to talk to them. They were Esther, Viola and Annie Young. (Used to be their names). I don't know where they live now, or who they married. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hampden (Myrtle Reeve) and daughter, Bonnie from Pleasant Grove. Jim Larson of Lake Tahoe, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hep-worth, Hep-worth, Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jaco'bson and daughter, Marilyn, of Orem. Mr. and Mrs, Russell Johnson John-son (Georgia Slaughter) of Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Christenson, from Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Lewis from Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Bloom of Boise, Idaho, attended our Sunday School Sunday morning. They were guests at the Milo Bishop Motel. We received a call from our son, Don Tuesday afternoon, to meet him at Spanish Fork. He was on his way from New York, where he spent the last 30 days of his three years in the U.S. Navy, at the Brooklyn Shipyards. It's great to have him home. In eleven weeks, our other son, Duane, who is m the Medical Detachment in Germany Ger-many (U.S. Army), wil be home, having been gone two years. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Warnick took their mother, Mrs. Grace War-nick, War-nick, to Ogden, to visit her son, Marion and family. Then they drove to Logan. Mrs. Harriet Spend-love Spend-love and girls went with them to Smithfield to see her mother. On the way home, they visited Mrs. Catheryn Stratton in the County Hospital. She was real pleased to see them and said how glad she would be if only she could come home, but she is too weak. Two of Elden Hurst's sisters, with husbands and families, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Coray of Payson, and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Washburn Wash-burn of Spanish Fork and a brother broth-er Miles Hurst, from Payson, with his family, spent Decoration day with the Hurst's in Hinckley. They all went to Leamington and decorated dec-orated their mother's grave. His father was not able to come. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spencer have their daughter, Norma Taylor and baby, from Ely, Nevada, also a relative, Mrs. Dick Swallow of Shoshone, Idaho, here to visit them. Jack and June have moved into the June Johnson home. Walter and Roma Ekins and Blaine and Vi Robinson, went to Cedar City for Decoration Day and the wind blew there, too. Maybe not as hard as here, but it blew. Alda and Tom Reeve, from Fillmore, Fill-more, came for Mrs. Lydia Ekins to take her to Provo for Decoration Decora-tion Day. Cluff, Dean and Lynn Talbot and wives went to Provo to decorate their parent's graves, then on to Pleasant Grove to the B.Y.U. rodeo ro-deo Friday night. They said Howard How-ard Carrol made a real good ride that night. Thora and Jim Petersen Peter-sen and Grant and Elaine Hardy, attended the rodeo Saturday night. Kathryn Manis and two children, child-ren, Patricia Dawn and Johnnie, of Los Vegas, are vacationing here with friends and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wilson. Lee's son, Jay, graduated from High School In Provo and joined the Army. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson and three children, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jensen and daughter, of Salt Lake, are guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Meron Petersen. Mr. and, Mrs. Wayne Bryant of Tooele also visited them. Mr. and Mrs. Art Reeve and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Blake drove to Fillmore, then on to Sigurd Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Humphries and two sons of Murray, visited their mother Mrs. Hattie Humph ries, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Woffin-den Woffin-den and family, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Western. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Allred, Marilyn Mari-lyn and Annette Petersen, left Friday, Fri-day, for Riverside and Los Angeles, Calif., where they will stay a week then the Allred's will go to Can ada for the summer. Bertha and George Barton were here for the weekend. Stephen and Larry Love were here, Friday and Saturday, then left for their vacation to Tustin, Calif., to see their brother, Dale and family. Grace Morris and son, Dan and daughter, Betty Lou of Pioche, called to see Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Morris and - family, Thursday. Mrs. Horace Wilkens had her sister's, sis-ter's, Mrs. Glen Brush and husband hus-band of Chester, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Bond of Salt Lake, to spend Friday with her and her family. Miss Pat Laursen and her girl friend, Shirley Renner, of Logan, are guests of the Harold R. Morris Mor-ris home. Pat is the fiancee of their son, Marlow, who is in the air force in Florida. Lucky Jordon, from Reno, Nevada, Nev-ada, spent a week as guest of Mr. Blaine Theobald. Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen of Brigham City and three children, spent Wednesday night as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hust. Mrs. Mortensen and Joy used to work together at the Ogden Arsenal, during World War II. Dale and Roger Bliss drove to California Tuesday morning, for a truck load of Holstein heifers. They returned Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Jex Hiatt and girls, Carol Ann and Bonnie Rae, and son, Lamoine of Payson, visited parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Hepworth this week. Mrs. Paula Christensen, of Salt Lake, came Saturday to get her small daughter, Kim, who has spent the week with grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Workman. Karl and Arvilla drove to Cedar City, Sunday, to see their daughter, El-ma El-ma Kay's new home. Church News Culler Henrie of the Presidency of the High Priests Quorum, visited Priesthood meeting and Sunday School, Sunday morning. M.I.A. Social The M.I.A. year begins Tuesday, with a social at the Community Fire Place. At 7:30 there will be a scavenger hunt. At 8:15, a program pro-gram and refreshments. Sunday night worship hour was given by the Sunday School, entitled, en-titled, "Feed My Sheep." The Junior Sunday School sang two songs. Talks were given by Hollie Mainis, Margaret Ekins, Beth Hepworth and Oren Bliss. Ruth Talbot and Erma Cropper sang a duet. Roma Ekins accompanied accomp-anied them. The film, "Feed My Sheep" was shown by Supt. Ray Western of the Deseret Stake Sunday Sun-day School. Invocation was 'by El-vin El-vin Tanner and Benediction by Enid Damron. Babies Blessed At Fast and Testimony Meeting, Sunday, two babies were namea and blessed. They were Bradley Clare Bishop, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clare Bishop and Michael Kirk Theobald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Theobald. Jenette Hurst and Gwen Bishop gave the 2V4 minute talks in Sunday Sun-day School. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Bishop had their children, Lars and family, of Payson, Clare and wife and baby, of Provo, Sylvia and husband, Paul Miller of Manti and Janith who just graduated from Snow College, home over the weekend. Anna Lou Stanworth and small daughter, Cindy Lou of! Pioche, were here for a week with her sister, Mrs. Mavis Ma-vis Hardy. Paul Damron was home from the B.Y.U. for the weekend. Other students stu-dents from Snow College and C.S.U. are home for the summer. .Mr. and Mrs. Albin Pearson of Midvale and Mrs. Leah Wood of Fillmore, called to see Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Stewart Sunday. Mrs. Mary Abbott and family of Spanish Fork, were here for the week. Coalesce Club Members of the Coalesce Club and their partners met at the Community Com-munity Fire Place, for a party, Saturday night. Delma Galli was hostess and all members helped her. The evening was spent playing play-ing games and listening to a program. pro-gram. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hurst and Cleone Talbot were invited guests. Wallace WoocTbury had all but one of his children home over the weekend. They were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Woodbury, Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Roe Buchanan, St. George, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Woodbury Salt Lake, with their children. Jerry Campbell a friend of Leon Lewis, from Salt Lake visited the Wilson and Morris families over the holidays. Sidney Morris from Salt Lake also visited his parents and Garry went back with him to Salt Lake. , Vi Robinson had her brother, Earl W. Chatterley and three daughters from Bountiful here to visit them. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Robinson received re-ceived a telegram from their son Buron and wife in Stillwater Oklahoma Okla-homa announcing the arrival of a bahy girl. Buron said "Miss America has arrived". Family members and guests were well informed by staff members of the duties and importance of the care given patients by psychologists psychol-ogists and attendants. In addition to this panel comments were made by the Directors of patients counsel coun-sel and volunteer service. After lunch on the Wards, 3-8-8--9-22, meetings were resumed at IP. M. Guest speakers were Dr. Marshall of the BYU and Dr. Mof-fitt, Mof-fitt, superintendent of the Provo City Schools. Full support has been given in the past for a 9 month curriculum, but it is desired that a full year be provided at the Hospital Hos-pital to assure students credit and ability to be with their own level when returned home. "This will have to be appropriated by the State Legislature and the approximate approx-imate amount would be $1,500. We shall be very co-operative and willing will-ing to provide a teacher and facilities fac-ilities if the money can be had", said Dr. Moffitt. Next business meeting will be Friday, June 27, at 10 A. Mary Abbott and family visited their mother Doris Abbott during the week and ' Bobbie stayed for a few more days visit. Mr. and Mrs. Don Boothe and family fam-ily and Lee Boothe visited with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Cal Boothe during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Rod Shields entertained enter-tained at a supper for the following follow-ing relatives, Saturday evening: Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Justesen and Wanda from Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Justesen, and family, Mr. and Mrs. LeAuer Shields and Family Fam-ily and Jim Meim'burg. Twenty six people in all, they took pictures and had a good family get together. Sunday in Fast meeting we had four lovely babies blessed and given names. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Clark, a boy, named Bruce Robison Mr. and Mrs. LeAuer Shields, a son, John Rodney, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Abbott, a daughter, Gina Cloe.Mr. and Mrs. Alden Shurtz, a daughter, Karen May.
