The cast included Helen imoit, Howard Roundy, DeLoy Stewart, Gene Winifield, Dale Wil loughby and Norma Sledge. They did a fine job with it and a large crowd was present to see the per formance. Then on Thursday one of the Fillmore wards presented the play "Little Women". There was a good crowd out to see it and the reports ore that it was a wonderful play end was very well done. A week ago Sunday Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Peterson from Ogden visited their father, Peter A. Peterson and their brother, Peter H. and his wife, Inga. Mr. and Mrs. Hatch and their family moved to Milford a week or ten days ago. We are sorry to lose this family from our community, commun-ity, but they are nearer to his work now, and that will make It better for them. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kelly made a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, this last week to visit their children, Mr. and Mrs. Venor Moody, and their family. About 26 relatives and friends called Saturday evening on Mrs. Inga Peterson to wish her a Happy Birthday and partake of birthday fare with her. Many happy returns, Inga. We are glad to hear that Edwin Skeem is improving nicely since his operation. Now we are extending our best wishes to Deon Gillen, who was operated on Saturday in the Delta hospital. We hope he recovers rapidly. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ludwig and family were favored by a nice visit from their mother, Mrs. Dow, of Sandy. Alfred and Ethel Stanworth were pleasantly surprised Saturday, when one of Alfred's cousins, La-Vell La-Vell Hinton, and her husband, (I didn't learn his name, and they were just married recently) dropped drop-ped in to see them. They are from the southern part of the state. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Rawson and son, Richard, from Salt Lake City, visited visit-ed over the weekend at the home of Duane and Ila Stanworth. Di si- i : I Mr. and Mrs. Duane Galll and 'family drove to Garrison in their , new station wagon to celebrate Delma Jean's birthday and visit Duane's folks. Mario Morris who is attending the USAC at Logan was home to spend his spring vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Morris. Mor-ris. Shirlene Talbot also is home from the CSU at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Cluff Talbot spent Monday In Salt Lake City. Bishop Rop P. Hilton is reported doing well after having surgery done last week in the Veteran's Hospital in Salt Lake City. Duane and I drove to Salt Lake Friday and brought George home Sunday from the hospital where, he has been for six weeks. He Is ( much better, but still unable to, do much walking. Students from Hinckley who at-, tended the Regional Speech meet in St. George were Paul Damron, j who gave a humorous reading; Mary Warnick, who entered in debating and Ronald Morris, who did a pantomime. Ronald got and excellent rating and gets to go to the State to give his act. Coalesce Club Dot Spencer and Betty Jane Morris Mor-ris entertained the Coalesce Club members and their husbands at a party at the Spencer home, Satur day nisht. After dinner was served the croup played one high Rook. High prizes were won by Dee Stevens and Wanda Johnson, low prizes went to Elden Hurst and Delma Jean Galli. All members were present and had a very enjoyable time. Duane Stewart leaves Wednes day for Fort Dix, New Jersey, where he will remain until he sails for Europe. Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Pope, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Vert and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Vert of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jones and children of Cedar City were all guests of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Work man. Carl Hardy and Karl Workman attended a Conoco convention in Richfield Thursday. Daddy Date Night The Hinckley Home Builder Girls entertained their daddies at a dan cing party Saturday night. Golda Talbot, teacher, was In charge assisted by Cheryl Hilton and Carol Bishop. Phyllis Bennett led the girls and their partners in a full evening oi dancing. They did the Hokey Pokev. Monday afternoon a party in their honor was given and all the little folks of the community and others were invited. Mrs. Leona Anderson left Monday Mon-day for Ogden, where she will help care for her mother, Mrs. Randall Whiting, who is home from the hospital, but is still very poorly. Leona will probably stay a week or so. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Skeem, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Skeem and Evelyn Kay, spent Saturday in Provo. Val Styler and Enoch Gillen were the speakers in sacrament meeting Sunday evening. A trio, Beth Day, Shirley Skeem and Glenda Roundy sang two numbers. They were accompanied by Ila Stanworth. Gloria Day was sustained as assistant secretary of the Sundaj School in meeting Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Ab Bliss and Mrs. Lynn Warnick, from Salt Lake; called for Mr. and Mrs. Bob Robinson Robin-son last Wednesday and took them with them to Ursine, Nev., for a visit.
