Her comprehension compre-hension and analysis of literature lit-erature is superb while her J writing reflects a bright cre-' cre-' ative mind. Angela Craft has a great Iff work ethic that will make " V hef successful at anything she tnes. bhe is punctual, ready to learn, and uses her time in class right up to the last minute. Trevor Hoerner is enthu- i siaktic. a fast learner, and . m not afraid to speak up in the f $ target language (French). He likes to share his ideas and knowledge with others to help them. L . Thomas is a straight "A" student who also has super citizenship marks. She conducts herself her-self well and is a fantastic band student. Amy Argyle is a dedicated dedicat-ed and reliable student. She works hard, asks questions ques-tions and tries to be a positive posi-tive influence in class. Benjamin Nichols has done an outstanding job in Algebra 2 this year. He missed many days to practice prac-tice for the opening and closing ceremonies at the Winter Olympic Games and still stayed caught up with his work. Troy Bailey is a responsible, responsi-ble, friendly and respectful young man. Since seventh grade, (he is now in ninth grade), he has always given 100 percent in RE. Avery Spencer tries hard to complete all of his assignments assign-ments and they are done well. Grove 785-9319 CALL OR DROP IN! Tin- f.lBr vy,7. The Pleasant Grove Vikings of the Month for March are: Brianne Hibben, Joanna Wilcox, Natalie Green, Stephen Jones, Brian Taylor and Joshua Adamson. Parents were invited to the PTSA meeting meet-ing where they were recognized recog-nized and presented with a CD holder. Brianne was born in Oregon and was the Campfire Girl's Silver Anniversary Baby. She moved to Pleasant Grove last summer and joined the LDS Church is August. She taught herself how to play the guitar and writes her own music and lyrics. She loves sports and writing and singing in the Women's Choir. Stephen is the oldest of six children. Some of his siblings were born with special spe-cial needs and he is always willing to help out and do whatever he is ask. He has a blue belt in karate and received his Eagle Scout award when he was 13. He Is good at art and plays the saxophone and the clarinet. Joanna Wilcox is one of nine children and a very busy young woman. She enjoys traveling and dancing danc-ing and received a lifetime scholarship at the John Robert Powers School of Acting and Modeling, she attends the school now at least once a week. She is a night manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken and qualified to go to the National Debate Competition in North Carolina in June. Back row: Stephen Jones, Brian Taylor and Joshua Adamson. year and was able to go on an all expense trip to New York last summer. Natalie is the oldest of seven children. She is looking look-ing forward to graduation and loves working as a volunteer vol-unteer at the American Fork Hospital. She has also had a part time job for the past two years and is working for a title company. She is planning plan-ning to study nursing and recently started a class that will help her certify as an EMT. Brian is a caring young man and has maintained a courageous focus on life and school despite losing his mother to cancer last November. He has maintained a 4.0 GPA ever since he started the seventh grade. He has attended the University of Utah College of Engineering Seminar the past two years which exposed him to technology in all fields of engineering. He plans on attending a four year university and serving an LDS mission. Joshua is the oldest of three sons and his brothers look up to him as an example. exam-ple. He learned to read when he was four and had quite a head start in school. He has always had an interest inter-est in drama and has excelled in theater arts and won many awards. Their class had the most parents sign up as members of PTA this year. Their class will receive a special party as a reward. Thanks to all of the parents that joined PTA this year. Students are asked that they not be worn to school as they are creating safety prob lems.
