Clark and his wife Patricia, of Salt Lake, City; daughters Kathryn and her husband Dr. Cecil A. Childers, and Anna and her husband Dr! Curtis C. Reemsnyder both of Corpus Christi, Texas. Lucille Clark Clark, 78, of Provo, passed away August 3, 2000 at the Crestview Care center in Provo, Utah. She was born June 29, 1922, in Preston, Idaho, to Lucius and Miriam A d e 1 i a C a r 1 i n g Clark. As a child, she lived in Treasureton, Idaho; Three Forks, Montana; Teton City, Ammon and Bancroft, Idaho. She graduated from Bancroft High School and then attended Ricks College. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and minors in English and Music. She worked in Sacramento, California as a PBX operator during World War II and then served a mission for the LDS Church in California. She taught elementary school in Franklin and Idaho Falls, Idaho; Sanger, Calif, and Bountiful, Utah. Lucille had an independent spirit spir-it and curiosity which lead her to teach school at Air Force bases in the Philippines, Japan, Morocco and Germany. On Nov. 4, 1966, she married John W. (Jay) Clark in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Meridian, Calif, until 1984, when Jay retired and they moved to Provo. They served a mission in San Antonio, Texas. Lucille was always willing to help anyone in need. She was admired and respected for her generosity and many talents. Lucille was a member of the LDS Church and served as an officer and teacher in various organizations and was frequently frequent-ly involved with the music. She served as Relief Society President in Tokyo and Morocco. She enjoyed her family, music and traveling. Lucille and Jay were in the BYU Cougar Club and loved to attend sports events. They enjoyed traveling together to many foreign countries. coun-tries. Survivors include her husband hus-band John W. (Jay) Clark of Provo, step-children: DeLene (Jay) Holbrook, of Oxford, MA; Lee (Sandy) Clark of Safford, Arizona; Lynn (Kathy) Clark of Lehi, Utah; and David (Cheryl) Clark of Wylie, Texas. There are 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grand great-grand children. She is survived by two brothers, Elmer L. (Martence) Clark of Bennion, Utah, and Melvin C. (Juanita) Clark of Orem, Utah, and two sisters Afton (Ralph) Hill of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Wilma (Donal) Hill, of Provo, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Ervin (Dorothy Meadows) Clark and a sister Verla (Kenneth) Cook. Funeral services were under the , direction of Walker-Sanderson Walker-Sanderson Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 7, in the Grandview Ninth Ward LDS Church. Interment was at the Provo City Cemetery. New Utah! - Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000 - page 15 Colleen Blackhurst Judd Irvin H. Weathers Irvin Hiest Weathers, 91, passed away Sunday morning, August 5, 2000. Irvin was born in R e m u 1 a s , Okla., on Jan. 4, 1909, to Washington Heist Weathers and Mattie Lou Wiggins Weathers. He went to Bethell school in Pottowatamie County and helped his father on the farm. On Aug. 23, 1926, he married Roberta Rebecca Stout. They moved to San Bernardino, Calif, in 1931. He was a salesman for Ellena Bros. Winery for 36 years. Irvin and Roberta were married for 45 years until her death in 1953. They had one daughter and a son together. In April, 1962, he married Sara Jean McMahon in Shawnee, Okla., where they made their home They were married for 24 years when Sara Jean passed away in 1995. In 1996, Irvin moved to American Fork to live with his daughter, where he made several new friends. He belonged to the 20-30 Club and was an Elk for 20 years. He worshiped at the Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee, Okla. Irvin is survived by his daughter, daugh-ter, Peggy Lou Shoell, American Fork; a son, John Irvin Weathers, Gardner-vine, Nev.; 3 grand-: grand-: daughters, ...Michelle . , Bowden,,; Fresno, Calif; Patty Lou Cook, Kanab, Utah; Robyn Clare Masterson, Birdseye, Utah; 1 grandson, David Black, Aromas, Calif; 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Colleen retired from the elementary education system in 1991, after 30 years of service. Colleen last taught at Ensign Elementary. Colleen is survived by her husband, Harold D. Judd; children: chil-dren: Chantel Parker and H. Shaun Judd (Kristen); grandchildren: grand-children: Zachary, Zaben, London, Morgan, Ashley and Jordan; four younger brothers and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
