The new PTSA website contains the high school calendar, school events, reflections, character connection information, "Wassup," parenting help, college col-lege information, learning something new and more. There will be a message from the PTSA president, the PTSA calendar, all about Back to School Night and PTSA membership mem-bership information. Visitors will be able to find when and where the big game will be, as well as tips on surviving sur-viving a teen driver and how to finance a college education. The website will encourage parents to visit the school for a monthly Parent Day, eat lunch, visit a class, help with Teacher Appreciation Baskets, volunteer volun-teer to be lab assistants after school, chaperone dances or be a substitute teacher. The web page about PGHS teachers will be officially titled, "Wassup?" The purpose is to highlight special activities that teachers are doing with their students in the classroom, in a club, or any school related activity. For example, "Wassup?" will include information about the Esteem Team along with information infor-mation about the sports teams, the Angel Tree at Christmas and other special programs. Kathy Terry is the webmaster. webmas-ter. She came up with the idea for the web page and at this time she is not sure how it will turn out. Her goal is for parents to get connected and involved in their teen's life, help out at the school and support the PTSA.
